Granting Roles to Users


Once the user has been created, it is required to assign different roles to the user based on the requirement.

Here are the detailed steps of how to assign the roles to a user in oracle fusion application.

1)  Login to the fusion application as admin user
2) Navigate to Administration  à Setup and Maintenance





3)  In the setup and maintenance page, query name with entry “user”





4) Navigate to page as shown below





5)  In the identity manager – delegated administration page, query for the user whom you need to assign roles





6) Click on the user to assign roles.Navigate to Roles sub tab and click on the assign roles icon.Select the roles which you want to grant to the selected user and click on Add button. Then the selected roles will be assigned to the user
